Hello,
On June 14 we left Sweden by ferry from Ystad to Świnoujście in Poland. We continued down south, did not do as many stopovers as we had expected, since not finding too much interesting in the cities along the way. As we came to the very south part, towards the border to Chechia, the landscape changed and we met rolling hills. We decided to cross the border and stayed a few days there. We visited the national park with rock formations in Adrspach-Teglice for a wonderful, but difficult, hike.
Back to Poland and heading towards Krakow where Hannes was attending the European Games in Padel, playing for Austria. They had an unlucky draw and had to meet one of the best teams, the one from Portugal. A loss, but they did play very well.
Friday morning we are heading north again, to catch our ferry on June 26. We are heading towards the Baltic since we have suffered a 30 degree C (86 F) heat wave here. Hoping for some chilly sea water.
Since we have been on the road most of the time, that is all for this week. I am returning next week with a report from the rock formation park, the padel game and some sightseeing features from the beautiful city of Krakow. We visited an outstanding museum, with a fantastic collection. I am adding a few photos which will give you a few hints of what is coming.
See you next week.
I just had written a comment but it disappeared when they said I don't have a profile. :(
Anyway, I was saying something like I absolutely love your blog and thank you for letting us travel the world with you.
I will never catch up on all your travels, Lisbeth. It's been a zoo of a month and I still have a couple of your posts hanging open on my computer to revel in! But wow -- you are on the go! And how very interesting, too! Thanks!
