A small update

Hello,

Last time I posted here I left you in Crete. There will be another post from there as regards Knossos. However, I happened to get a food poisoning the last days, and it was quite a terrible experience. It lasted more or less for five days, and then you need some days to recuperate and start eating again. Not much else happening in other words .

I did manage to be well enough to go to the opera to see La Bohème by Puccini, for which I had already bought the ticket. It was a modern version, taking place in New York. The music is so wonderful and it is one of my favourite operas. I get tears in my eyes when they sing the famous love song. It was a good evening to break up the bad days that had been.

Now I am preparing to go to Paris for 12 days. I have talked about making such a trip for some years, and finally, I booked my flight and hotel. I will enjoy walks through the small streets of Paris, visiting famous places, museums and palaces. I will write more frequent posts here and take you with me along the way.
