I think the main problem with the internet is that every idiot can and therefore will comment on everything, whether they know anything about the subject or not. That's what I love about blogging. You meet intelligent people who are really interested in getting to know everything, not what someone who thinks he's important is telling us.

I never even noticed that social media was down, so I must not be as bad as I thought. LOL I spend more time writing for my blog and definitely reading than being on social media. And I also have other interests, so no harm done if I have to live without it for a while.

I agree totally. I think it might have been down only in Sweden. I appreciate more and more the blogging community, where, as you say, you have intelligent and nice people writing and commenting. I have not been commenting so much lately, but will come back to it soon. But, I still read everyone I am following.

No, no, it was down here, as well. You could read it everywhere afterwards. As I say, I'm not online all day long and totally missed it.

And as to your comments, we all have less time in some weeks, we'll be here when you come back.

I have a love-hate relationship with today's never-ending onslaught of information. Constant news, always breaking (though sometimes that's an overreach!); social media. My only social media is FB (well, and the blog). I spend a lot of time with the blog but very little on FB -- I check birthdays and do a quick scan, maybe post if there's something to put up. But I hear of people who spend hours surfing the internet, not for research, but because they fall in and can't get out. That's not healthy. I'd rather read. Or paint. Or DO something!

I agree with you Jeanie, it is quite terrible. Wherever you go you see people hooked to their telephones. I don't spend too much time on them either, like you, checking FB comments, mostly interacting with groups I am part of, which is very rewarding mostly. Lately, I have been hooked on the IG reels which are quite funny, but I have noticed that an hour passes without you knowing it, so trying to control it more.

The blogs are my main communication and I love it. Lately, I have not been so active, but still reading the blogs I am following. It is much nice doing something as you say. I met a friend yesterday, she made a lovely lunch and then we spent the day creating things. We have different way of creating, but it was really lovely to sit around a table, create and talk. We will make it a habit.

Enjoy your creative things, you seem to have a lot of interests to pursuit, and that is great.
