After reading so many Donna Leon Brunetti recipes, it's fun to see some of the islands on your tour. I'm especially wild about the colors of Burano. I'd love seeing that one especially. I hope you get on your next van trip soon -- it sounds fun!
It is nice to follow the Brunettis and their recipes. One should not be hungry when reading the books. Burano was amazing, and had a Caribbean atmosphere, I think due to the colourful houses and the style.
We are taking a small three-day trip over Midsummer this coming weekend. End of June we take the van to go around the two big lakes in Sweden, Vänern and Vättern. In the end of July we head south to Austria and then on to Sardinia and Corsica, ending the tour via the Riviera and Italy. It should be a nice tour.
Ja, det blir ett problem när vissa ställen blir för populära. Det var inte så mycket turister nu som när vi var där i mars förra året. Konstigt nog. Torcello och Burano är definitivt värda ett besök och det är lätt att ta sig mellan öarna med båt.

Vilka vackra hus och trevliga öar. Venedig har blivit en för stor turiststad. Tyckte bättre om den vid tågluffen 1975.
